Studio Classes

I teach at select studios throughout the Hamilton region, including Solstice Pilates in Ancaster, The Wellness Hub in Stoney Creek, and Revity Pilates in Burlington.

Absolutely, and there's no better time to start than now! If you're new to Pilates, attending an in-studio class is the best way to learn the method. You'll get hands-on guidance, real-time cues, and the kind of personalized attention that builds a strong, safe foundation from day one.
That said, our online membership is a beautiful complement to your practice. Once you've got the fundamentals down, it's there for you whenever you want Pilates on your own terms; early mornings, late nights, or anywhere in between.
-
Click Classes at the top of the page, and you’ll be guided to book a class directly from the studio website.
-
Booking in advance is strongly encouraged, as each studio has its own capacity and process for booking clients!
common client questions
-
We recommend 2–3 sessions per week to start feeling a real difference in your strength, posture, and mobility. Consistency is everything, even one class a week is a beautiful place to start.

Absolutely. If you’re an in studio client, you can send an email to hello@fine-tuned.ca with any concerns or questions you have, prior to a class.

Mat Pilates uses your own bodyweight as resistance, focusing on building deep core strength, flexibility, and body awareness; all you need is a mat and the willingness to show up.
Reformer Pilates uses a spring-based machine that adds resistance and support, allowing for a wider range of exercises and deeper muscle engagement.
Although neither is “harder” than the other, Mat will be more challenging since there is no resistance to support the body.

The Fine Tuned Muse method is a thoughtful blend of mobility and strength, designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and progress with purpose.
Mobility opens the joints first (hips and shoulders), so your muscles can activate deeper and work harder from the very first movement.
Progressive overload adds the principles of strength training; each exercise is designed to challenge your body in a way that builds on itself over time by slowly waking up the muscles layer by layer.
Full Body Movement every class is a full-body experience, because in real life, no muscle ever works in isolation. We train the body the way it was designed to move: as one integrated, connected system
Every class is intelligently sequenced so that nothing is random and nothing is wasted. You're not just moving, you're progressing. Session by session, your body adapts, strengthens, and evolves.
-
Your body is the equipment. This means that bodyweight alone is enough to create real, lasting change.
Props are used with intention here; not to make things harder, but to help your body find the right muscles and activate them accurately. It's precision over difficulty, every time.
For those looking to enhance their practice, we recommend light weights (2-3lb, which can double as wrist or ankle weights), a set of resistance bands ranging from light to heavy, and a Pilates ball.
-
Every class is full-body and purposefully sequenced to progress you over time. And for those who want to go deeper, we've got you. Our Technique Classes are designed to sharpen your fundamentals, refine your movement, and elevate the quality of every single rep.
New classes are added weekly so your practice stays fresh and continues to evolve. We're also launching 1–2 live classes per week exclusively for members.
This will be a dedicated time to move together, connect, and get your questions answered in real time. Stay tuned!

Absolutely. Once our Pregnancy Series launches, every class will be intentionally designed to be safe and effective for all bodies — including those who are pregnant.*
In the meantime, Simi is pregnancy certified through Body Harmonics and teaches small, intimate classes in a clinical setting at The Wellness Hub — a dedicated prenatal and postnatal clinic in Stoney Creek. You're in expert hands every step of the way.
The Fine Tuned Muse method's mobility-first foundation and intelligent sequencing mean that every class can be adapted to meet you exactly where you are, without compromising results or safety.
Note: Always consult with your physician before beginning any new program.
